River Tech Academy at Goodwin University is Connecitcut's First Technical Magnet High School operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford, CT. We are actively searching for a High School English Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. An ideal candidate is someone with an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The school features a collaborative learning model, block scheduling, hands-on and outdoor learning along with multiple connections to Goodwin University. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. The selected teacher will experience a new facility set on the Connecticut River and will become a member of a dynamic team of educators.
