We are looking for a Project Buyer responsible for the procurement activities for Division Mlog projects in Poland, as well as other international projects. This role includes also the ownership of assigned commodity groups (e.g. steel structures,; small parts technology, etc.) and managing supplier qualifications and audits in Poland and surrounding countries.

This role includes also the ownership of assigned commodity groups (e.g. steel structures,; small parts technology, etc.) and managing supplier qualifications and audits in Poland and surrounding countries.
Your tasks
- Lead contract negotiations incl. contract drafting for project contracts on steel structures, roof and cladding, machinery, equipment and components as well as related external services (procurement of trades)
- Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs) for project materials and review, validate, and implement resulting orders in the ERP system
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier evaluations, risk analysis and development measures within assigned commodity groups
- Identify opportunities to improve competitiveness and optimize costs
- Optimize processes within your area of responsibility in coordination with your supervisor
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in project procurement or in the procurement of Capital Expenditures, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
- In-depth knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supplier management processes within ERP systems
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, (Technical) Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Very good command of English, Polish and German (min. B2).
- High level of initiative, strong commitment, and execution focus, combined with creativity in finding solutions when challenges arise, stress resistance, effective negotiation skills, and a cooperative team mentality
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 15–20%, mainly Central and Eastern Europe)
