Job Description
- Safely operate company vehicles, including commercial trucks requiring a CDL.
- Transfer trucks, tractors, and other company vehicles between assigned locations.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Department of Transportation requirements, and company driving policies.
- Ensure proper completion of required logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation as applicable.
- Maintain professional communication with management, dispatch, customers, and dealership personnel.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and presentable when possible.
- Assist with basic vehicle movement on dealership property when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required by assigned vehicle type).
- Current medical certification and ability to maintain driving qualification standards.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to pass company background checks and any required pre-employment screenings.
- Prior commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible schedule availability.
