Job Description
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver submarine fiber-optic systems that expand Google’s global infrastructure and bring connectivity to APAC regions.
- Validate critical engineering decisions regarding cable routes, landing point selections, and marine installation methods to ensure optimal protection and performance.
- Partner with vendors on permit acquisition strategies while coordinating the readiness of landing stations, fronthaul, and backhaul infrastructure.
- Oversee vendor performance across budget and schedule, negotiate agreement variations, and manage formal system handover processes.
- Facilitate partnering agreements for new developments and provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
