As a member of the team, the Business Analyst acts as a key link between business stakeholders, IT teams and external service providers. The role focuses on gathering and analysing business requirements, supporting solution delivery, and continuously improving processes and ways of working within the application and data landscape.

The application, based on the eFront package and complemented by a significant number of specific modules and features, is the platform supporting our client’s business activities within their group.

    Objectives of the assignment:

    Maintenance of the platform is a recurring activity, aiming to ensure that business users have:

    • The ability to perform their daily activities efficiently.
    • The ability to cope with new functional and/or technical requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collect and prioritize business requirements in close collaboration with key users and business owners.
    • Perform business analysis of change requests, including:
      • Analysing new business requirements in close cooperation with business stakeholders and service providers.
    • Assessing impact, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions aligned with business requirements, information architecture, and operating context.
    • Producing clear and structured project specifications.
    • Act as the interface between business experts, stakeholders (solution architects, data governance office, etc.) and service providers responsible for implementation.
    • Provide level 2 support to end users, deliver training on the eFront platform, and maintain and update user documentation.
    • Manage testing activities:
      • Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
    • Prepare relevant test data.
    • Execute test cases, analyse results, and raise appropriate remediation actions when necessary.
    • Assist developers on business and functional aspects of projects, particularly during migration and data-cleaning activities.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team procedures and activities, as well as to the deployment of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework, by:
      • Proactively identifying areas for improvement in team activities and ways of working.
    • Providing constructive feedback on interactions with internal stakeholders and service providers, ensuring alignment with best market practices, clear roles, and responsibilities.

    Technical skills:

    • Strong experience in business analysis and requirements management.
    • Ability to write clear functional and business specifications.
    • Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
    • Familiarity with data, migration and system integration topics.
    • Knowledge of financial platforms and environments (e.g. eFront) is a strong asset.

    Profile:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
    • Proactive, structured, and improvement-oriented mindset.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in English is required; French is a strong asset.
