Traffic Supervisor

CUMULUS MEDIA�s Corporate Traffic team is growing, and we are looking for individuals to lead a group of Traffic Coordinators. Our Cumulus Traffic Hubs are located in Atlanta, GA, Birmingham AL and Denver, CO and our new Traffic Supervisor�must be able to work out of one of these locations. As a Traffic Supervisor, you will lead up to 20 Traffic Coordinators in their work with our markets in our Wide Orbit traffic system. You will have the opportunity to educate and train our new and existing users on best practices and ensure they are using our product to its fullest potential. The Traffic Supervisor will work with the Corporate Traffic team, Continuity Directors, Sales Managers, and Account Executives. If you have a background in Radio and/or Wide Orbit with a desire to learn and educate others, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Train Traffic Hub staff on Wide Orbit software. Educate co-workers on various configurations and/or customization options
- Manage up to 20 Traffic Coordinators, including oversight and accountability on their performance and attendance
- Develop a thorough understanding of the market and corporate specific business objectives
- Work closely with the markets to ensure data is accurate and training is effective
- Work within deadlines in a team environment
- Provide additional support and training post implementation as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a traffic role preferably within a Radio Station or Media Software Company
- Experience with Wide Orbit
- Prior experience managing employees
- Ability to effectively communicate to a technical or non-technical audience
- Ability to lead presentations with confidence and build relationships with customers quickly
- Advanced skills in MS Windows, Excel, and Word
- Proven ability to function in a self-directed position
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment
- Proven experience balancing competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment and meeting tight deadlines
- Proven ability to take personal ownership for the success of a key business function
