Description
You will be based at our Newport office (South Wales) and successful applicants will be required to attend the office 5 days a week during probation.
Following successfully passing your probationary period, you will then be able to discuss a more hybrid approach with your manager, in line with business requirements.
Our Motor Injury team represents insurers and corporates in investigating and resolving complex or high-value vehicular personal injury claims. We manage all stages of the process, including pre-litigation, MOJ, infant approvals, OIC, small track, and fast track matters.
With a progressive approach and a market-leading reputation, the team goes beyond litigation. We analyse behaviours and trends to deliver bespoke strategies that help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
For these opportunities we run monthly Assessment Centres, typically held on the first Tuesday of each month. The recruitment process includes an initial screening call, followed by an online assessment. Successful candidates will then be invited to attend an in‑person Assessment Centre the following week.
What you will do?
- Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre-litigated or litigated work.
- Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions.
- Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.
- Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
- Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other Court documents.
- Maintain contact with our clients and their customers whilst proactively managing their expectations.

- Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs).
- Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.
