Job Description
Ability to:
-
Perform all essential duties.

Use metal core mig, tig, fluxcore, Sub-arc or stick welding process. Must pass 6G test required with NDT and X-ray.

Independently fit up pipe, flanges, etc.

Perform quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework.

Read and manufacture from ISO drawings.
-
Advanced knowledge of cutting equipment including flame and plasma cutting as well as a gouger.

Comply with all applicable safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.

Position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools.

Working knowledge of using an Aluminum spool gun for common repair of compression components.

Perform position welds on code materials.
-
Read and understand blueprints.
