Job Description Summary
Influential in shaping process and priorities across all seven Aeroderivative system teams, requiring high levels of operational judgment. Ensures implementation of standard Flight deck practices, coaches team on Flight deck principles. Establishes processes, drives initiatives, and explores tools to improve the effectiveness of the Aeroderivative Engines Engineering team. Interfaces with other functions across D&S to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, or technology.
- Will be well-versed in-Flight Deck principles and implementation practices. Coaches broader AEOE team, supports team to improve Flight Deck maturity.
- Focus on establishing processes, tracking adherence to process, establishing & tracking business integration metrics. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Supports all business integration processes including head count, resource planning, budget tracking, customer deliverables tracking. Responsible for various data collections that are used for ultimate decision making. Developing specialized knowledge in Operations discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Coaches colleagues on processes, level-sets extended team on rationale behind standards, acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations
