Position Overview:
You will serve as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Financial Products portfolio and North 54, Polaris’ captive insurance company. In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, audit support, and execution of internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations. You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide insights that inform decision-making and improve financial processes. This role offers the opportunity to influence financial performance and operations across a specialized and regulated business area.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute month-end close activities including preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and cash activity support.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across systems and external partners.
Support the development of forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans.
Execute and maintain internal controls, including SOX documentation, testing support and evidence preparation.
Support Polaris audits and North 54 captive audits.
Perform key driver, profitability, and trend analysis to provide actionable financial insights.
Support modeling and analysis for new and existing financial products.
Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to communicate insights that support business decisions.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
Leverage tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Snowflake to support data analysis and workflow automation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, or work within regulated environments preferred.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with large data sets.
Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, MAPICS, or OneStream preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Some travel may be required based on business needs.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
