 Business Analyst

At BME Exchange, we are looking for an experienced, customer-orientated business analyst to work on the business rollout of projects and enhancements to the SIX Swiss Exchange and BME Exchange. Are you a flexible team player, passionate about implementing initiatives in an Agile framework environment? Are you motivated to learn about the regulatory framework governing financial market infrastructure and securities trading and analyse how these are affected by new initiatives?

This is your chance to experience the stock exchange from the inside, in a unique, fast paced, and inspiring environment. In this role you will participate in the creation of the common Spanish and Swiss trading platform, contributing to its functional development and market innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and ensure changes are rolled out to clients seamlessly
  • Write business documents, including interface specifications, and communications to support clients integrating changes into their internal systems
  • Coordinate and perform acceptance tests for the Spanish Market and Exchanges platform (SMART), SIX Swiss Exchange and the future common Spanish and Swiss trading platform Equinox
  • Analyze and assess business initiatives in Equity, Fixed Interest and Derivatives Trading
  • Research for the impact of these changes on SSX and BME Regulatory documents and work with internal teams to ensure Regulators are informed of and approve changes in a timely manner

 

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services
  • Ambition to work independently and take responsibility in a small team
  • Good communication skills as well as systematic and accurate working methods
  • Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning and the ability to impart knowledge
  • Very good verbal and written skills in Spanish and English. German is a plus.
