Prosthetic Technician (1 full-time positions available)
Fast growing and employee friendly company, with an exciting opportunity for a Technician in our Harrisburg office. We are seeking a candidate who wants to work in a friendly and safe environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fabricates, including but not limited to, lay-ups and lamination, molding, shaping/forming, assembly, and static bench alignment.
- Quality checks on materials, required procedures and completed work by ensuring accuracy of fit, operation, durability and cosmetic appearance of prosthetics and orthoses fabricated or repaired.
- Completes assigned work for device delivery per company standards
- Determines the prosthetic needs of the patient by interpreting data and measurements provided by the clinician.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Create effective relationships with staff and customers
- Helps assure internal and external customer responsiveness
- Always adheres to Employee Handbook, Infection Control Policies and Procedures, applicable protocols and standards including ABC, BOC, and JCAHO
- Participates in projects as needed
- Completes other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
- Initiates efforts in quality improvement
- Moves from task to task readily
- Recognizes issues and requirements of problems
- High School Diploma
