Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Officer, Credit is responsible for the daily activities on gaming credit for Melco including requests and documentation related to credit application, reporting and administrative duties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review daily VIP arrival and incoming emails to process credit application/reactivation requests.
- Participate in the daily collection, verification and filing of credit documentation and supporting documents in accordance with SOP guideline.
- Extract daily reports and direct to requested recipients and filing and assist in preparing monthly reports.
- Prepare the “Telegraphic Transfer Request” to be signed by approvers and forward to Bank to process and to Finance/Gaming Audit/Compliance teams upon transaction completion.
- Assist in preparing the reconciliation of VIP patron deposit bank accounts and send the reconciliation report to Finance/Gaming Audit Teams
- Assist to prepare the Statement of Account for gaming debt follow up
- Assist in administrative duties within department.
- Interact internally with different departments and externally with other overseas offices regarding the tasks assigned

- Handle all requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle all data input in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle and review credit documents in awareness of any deviation from SOP.
- Constructive relationships are built with external contacts, internal customers and team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Previous experience in banking industry relating to credit/bank drafts/remittance is an advantage
- Fluency in both verbal and written English and Chinese
- Strong focus and attention to details
- Familiar with computer applications such as Word and Excel
- Experience liaising with executive and senior management
- Must have a sound knowledge of all laws and regulations associated with the role
Education
- High school graduate, University graduate in Business is preferred
