Job Responsibilities
What we ask of you:
- Working within a small underwriting team to provide operational and administrative support;
- Servicing of a portfolio of commercial and financial institution clients;
- Financial analysis of buyer risks including country and sector analysis;
- Cross office engagement including liaison with Dubai and London;
- Maintenance and on-going development of in-house systems and databases;
- Engagement with business partners including clients and business introducers;
- Contribute to the continued development of the Asia TCPRS portfolio;
- To support with any special projects & ad-hoc duties as required;
- Expectation for progression to take responsibility for the development of their own portfolio supported by full internal training;
What you will bring to the role:
The successful candidate will:
- A minimum of 3 years work experience gained in a credit insurance environment, trade finance background or a rating agency as a financial/credit analyst.
- Experience of multi-buyer trade credit insurance programs with Excess of Loss and Structured Trade Credit knowledge a benefit.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and financial analysis including interpretation of financial information.
- Good knowledge of the regional economies and major geo political events affecting the business environment.
- Good computer literacy, with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and the ability to develop a full understanding and capability of in-house and third party systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and perform independently or effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to communicate effectively and clearly with stake holders and business partners.
