
Complex Scheduler (Dermatology and Mohs Surgery)
Job Description
The Dermatology Clinic provides a wide range of comprehensive services in treating various skin conditions medically, surgically and cosmetically. We diagnose and treat skin cancers, skin conditions such as psoriasis/rashes/acne and provide cosmetic treatments through a variety of lasers/fillers/facial peels/Botox. Our team of providers, nurses, support staff and other health care professionals work together providing patients with quality dermatologic services to achieve healthy skin for life.
Our MOHS Surgery team of providers, nurses and support staff work together performing in office surgery for treatment of skin cancers and benign lesions. We work in collaboration with Facial/Plastics, as needed, to maximize surgery results.
What you will do as a Complex Scheduler:
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating multiple services including but not but limited to appointments, imaging, labs, procedures, surgeries, and treatments
- Collaborates with providers, clinic staff, schedulers, across multiple different departments, locations, and outside organizations (when needed) to ensure services are timed, coordinated, and sequenced appropriately and all associated activities are complete
- Serves as a single point of contact for coordinating appointments, procedures/surgeries, labs, imaging, or treatments
- Accurately navigates and translates complex service protocols, tools, standard work, and information to ensure appropriate services are delivered
- Follows standard processes and workflows to ensure safety and reliability
- Prepares, manages, and updates the daily schedule/calendars for physicians who deliver care (procedures, surgeries, clinic appointments) at different locations such as outreach clinics, hospitals, procedure centers
- Review and respond to patient messages sent to the Epic in-box or through MyChart
What you will need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years’ experience, in a healthcare setting/practice completing scheduling and registration of appointments, templating schedules in Epic and providing administrative medical support
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology

Compensation Disclaimer
An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
