Governance & Company Secretary Support
Prepare, draft, and maintain Board and Committee agendas, papers, resolutions, minutes, and statutory filings in line with governance standards.
Operate end‑to‑end governance workflows with clear tracking of actions and decisions.
Maintain centralised statutory registers and governance filing systems.
Outcome: Consistent, audit‑ready governance with clear accountability.
Legal Advisory & Contract Lifecycle Execution
Draft, review, and support negotiation of contracts using standard lifecycle workflows.
Maintain central contract and legal matter repositories as a single source of truth.
Outcome: Faster legal turnaround and reduced document risk.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
Monitor regulatory changes and support implementation of policy and compliance updates.
Assist with accurate and timely regulatory filings and reporting.
Support management of business licences and regulatory authorisations, including renewals and variations.
Maintain licensing registers and track compliance with licence conditions.
Outcome: Ongoing regulatory and licensing compliance supported by clear, auditable evidence.
Policy, Controls & Capability Uplift
Support development and maintenance of governance and legal SOPs and templates.
Contribute to training and awareness initiatives.
Outcome: Repeatable, scalable governance and legal practices.
Operating Context
Supporting the Head of Legal & Company Secretary and Associate Director, and forming part of the scalable foundation as the organisation grows. Reporting to Associate Director, Legal and Compliance.
Success Measures
Accuracy and timeliness of governance and regulatory filings.
Consistent use of standard templates and repositories.
Reduction in rework, missed actions, and document retrieval issues.
Positive stakeholder feedback on reliability and responsiveness.
Required Background & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in law.
3–5 years’ experience in legal, compliance, or governance roles.
Hands‑on experience supporting board and committee processes, statutory filings, and corporate records.
Exposure to regulatory compliance, licensing, and routine legal or contractual matters.
Very good command of written and spoken English.
Experience in a multi‑entity or multi‑jurisdiction governance environment is an advantage.
