Position Summary
The Turndown Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms for evening service, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and thoughtful environment for guests returning to their rooms. This role focuses on attention to detail, consistency, and anticipating guest needs while upholding Hotel Saint Vincent service standards.

Essential Job Functions

Guest Room Preparation & Service

  • Perform turndown service in assigned guest rooms during evening hours
  • Make beds and refresh linens to create a welcoming environment
  • Replace used towels with fresh ones
  • Replenish water and in-room amenities
  • Add amenity treats in accordance with hotel standards
  • Place robes and slippers neatly in guest rooms

Cleaning & Upkeep

  • Remove trash from guest rooms
  • Refresh and clean surfaces in all guest room areas
  • Lightly clean bathrooms as needed during service
  • Remove used in-room dining items promptly

Guest Experience & Support

  • Fulfill guest requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Deliver and place guest-requested items in rooms
  • Maintain discretion and respect guest privacy at all times

Public Area & Team Support

  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of public areas when needed
  • Support housekeeping team operations and coverage as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Professional, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor

  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
