Registered Nurse (RN) — Home Health (Field)
Use your assessment skills and teaching instincts to keep patients safe at home. As a Home Health RN at NARMC, you’ll admit and manage a caseload, provide skilled nursing, coordinate the plan of care, and help patients and caregivers gain confidence.

Job Summary
Provide intermittent skilled nursing in the home: comprehensive assessment, care planning/updates, education, IV/med administration per policy, wound care (sterile technique), and coordination with the care team; complete timely admissions, documentation, and on-call rotation as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform multi-system assessment/reassessment; identify changes and intervene per orders.
- Educate patients/families; plan safe discharges/transfers; coordinate across disciplines and care conferences.
- Start/maintain IV therapy (venipuncture, IVPB, IV push) and medications per policy; manage enteral feeding care.
- Provide sterile wound care; effective pain management; respond appropriately in emergencies.
- Supervise/delegate to LPNs and HHAs; complete accurate, timely documentation; participate in on-call rotation.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Arkansas RN license (or compact).
- Associate’s degree in Nursing; BLS.
- 1+ year hospital/SNF/related experience; reliable transportation and valid Arkansas driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; strong assessment and communication skills.
Preferred
- BSN; 2+ years related experience.
- COS-C or home-health-specific certification.
Compensation & Schedule
- Status: Full-time (PRN/part-time may be considered)
- Schedule: Days with rotating on-call/weekend coverage
- Pay: Competitive base pay with mileage per policy (details during interview)
