Job Description
Team presentation The Eurazeo Group's CAPITAL business, which specializes in investing in and supporting mature private equity companies, is recruiting a junior financial controller to join its small team based in Paris. As part of the finance department, reporting to the senior financial controller based in Paris, he/she will be responsible for the administrative and financial monitoring of the funds: Financial management of the funds under management: cash flow forecasts, assistance with the choice of funding sources and execution of calls for funds and/or drawdowns on funding lines, preparation of distribution notices Review of accounting reports and preparation of financial reports (quarterly reports, capital accounts) Interface with LPs and external parties (confirmation requests, performance) Support with setting up and monitoring investment structures Monitoring of CAPITAL portfolio valuations Implementation of data in tools (eFront, Intralinks in particular) Assistance with fund administration Responsibilities I.Portfolio monitoring Supporting the detailed financial analysis of portfolio companies on the basis of monthly reports and discussions with management or the shareholder of the holdings. Assisting with the analysis of recurring reports relating to the business, in relation to the Budget, the previous year, the Business Plan and the investment thesis Entering financial information, checking consistency and drafting performance comments as part of the production of quarterly investment reports for investors and/or the finance department Helping to monitor the valuation and performance of companies: applying different valuation methods (last round price, comparable methods, DCF); analysing shareholders' agreements and modelling waterfalls as part of the valuation process Assistance with the development of the "ILevel" portfolio monitoring tool. II. Ad hoc Support in preparing due diligence or marketing documents on the portfolio Assistance in preparing dataroom for fund raising Support to the investment team for investment transactions
