Job Details
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our dynamic Moving and Handling team who deliver an effective moving and handling strategy across Fife Council. We provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on best practice and legislative requirements to allow them to deliver services across Fife which are responsive, reliable, efficient and effective.
The successful candidate will deliver a range of Moving and Handling education and training programmes for a variety of staff groups and will have clear and effective communication skills to support this.

The Person
Educated to SCQF level 9 in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Nursing which includes a degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of legislation relating to manual handling inanimate loads and moving and handling people and experience of balancing them.
Competence with moving and handling practice skills based on evidence-based practice.
Experience of collaborative working and maintaining effective working relationships.
Ability to travel within Fife.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
