Commercial Account Executive
Job Description
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Insurance Producer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a sales-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and delivering customized insurance solutions to commercial clients—particularly within union and construction sectors.
The Commercial Account Executive will:
Develop and execute a proactive and independent sales strategy to generate new commercial business
Build and maintain strong relationships with union organizations, contractors, and business owners
Identify client needs and design tailored insurance solutions across various commercial lines
Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client support
Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Represent the brokerage at networking events, industry functions, and union engagements
To be successful as a Commercial Account Executive you will need:
An active insurance license
Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a strong background in B2B sales
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (property, liability, construction, etc.)
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Experience working with unions or construction-related industries is a strong asset
All-star candidates will have:
Experience using Policy Works
Bilingualism (French/English)

The base salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
