Job Description
The Advisor will:
Sell across a wide product shelf, including:
- Mutual Funds (if licensed via PC’s MFDA/CIRO platform or a Dealer of Record)
- Segregated Funds & Annuities
- Life Insurance (Term, Whole Life, Universal Life)
- Living Benefits (Disability, Critical Illness)
- Health & Dental Insurance (Individual, Conversion, Small Group)Build and manage a book of individual clients across insurance and investment lines
Achieve sales targets based on new business and in-force growth
Convert plan members from group benefit and retirement plans to personal solutions
Conduct needs analysis, financial planning, and insurance sales consultations
Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (MFDA, FSRA, CIRO, AMF etc.)
Collaborate with marketing and internal lead-gen teams to optimize pipeline
Participate in internal training, joint work, and study groups as needed
Foster long-term client relationships and succession plans within your region
To be successful as an Advisor with People Corporation, you will need:
Minimum 5 years experience in individual insurance and/or investment sales
Life License (LLQP) required
Mutual Fund license (MFDA or CIRO) preferred
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a national team
Strong client relationship and prospecting skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a compliance-first approach
Bilingualism (English/French) considered a strong asset in applicable regions

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - 110,000 per annum, competitive and commensurate with experience. Details of the total compensation package will be shared during the interview process.
