The Broker Assistant supports brokerage outcomes by coordinating market-facing activity and ensuring timely, accurate execution across placement and servicing. This role provides administrative, documentation, and operational support to Brokers and sales teams, enabling efficient handling of policies and key accounts. The core function of this role centers on service execution, documentation quality, and workflow coordination while delivering high-quality support to agents, carriers, and internal partners.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the placement and servicing process by preparing submissions, endorsements, quotations, and policy documentation
Coordinate account activity by managing correspondence, facilitating communication between agents, carriers, and internal teams, and ensuring timely execution of requests
Manage account servicing responsibilities, including renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and policy changes while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate systems, records, and documentation to support policy lifecycle management and audit readiness
Monitor account activity, including billing, collections, and documentation flow, to identify and resolve potential issues proactively
Provide high-quality service to agents, carriers, and internal stakeholders while supporting Brokers and production teams in meeting business objectives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
Experience within insurance, account servicing, or administrative support roles preferred
Foundational experience in policy documentation, account coordination, or customer service environments
Experience expectations increase across the career path, with progression toward more complex account handling and workflow ownership
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
State-specific insurance license required or expected to be obtained based on role responsibilities. Additional certifications may be encouraged to support career progression.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, policy processing, and system updates
Knowledge of insurance processes, policy structures, and servicing workflows
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with agents, carriers, and team members
Problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate issues and support resolution
Proficiency in office systems, tools, and administrative processes
