Reporting to the Organisation Change Delivery Capabilities Lead, the Transformation and Change Consultant plays a key role in shaping how delivery happens at ING. You are an all-round consultant who can step into Tribes or Programs at any stage, whether setting up new initiatives for success or resolving delivery challenges in existing ones. With experience across ways of working, project delivery, change management, and governance, you bring a pragmatic lens and apply the right approach to the situation. You work across all levels of the organisation as a trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to diagnose issues, shape practical solutions, and influence outcomes that matter for customers and colleagues.
As an organisational effectiveness and delivery specialist, you strengthen how work gets done across teams and value chains. You enhance delivery maturity, evolve operating models, and optimise processes and tooling to embed sustainable ways of working and help teams consistently deliver value. You remove impediments, uplift capability, and lead or support initiatives of varying scale and complexity, helping teams build delivery discipline, confidence, and effectiveness. In doing so, you contribute to continuous improvement, role model strong behaviours, and uphold the Orange Code.

What you’ll do …
Partner closely with stakeholders across the organisation to diagnose challenges and shape clear problem statements and opportunities.
Define and deliver evidence-based, roadmaps and interventions to uplift ways of working, project delivery, change management, and governance.
Work with stakeholders to shape clear problem statements, define impactful briefs, and design and deliver evidence-based roadmaps and interventions that uplift ways of working, project delivery, change management, and governance, embedding sustainable change and measurable outcomes.
Lead and deliver priority initiatives, applying ING’s global standards, tools, reporting and automation to strengthen delivery maturity and consistency.
Work with other Transformation and Change Team members, stakeholders and members of the delivery community to capture insights and lessons from delivery engagements and translate them into improved governance, tools, templates, guidance, and learning experiences.
Embed sustainable ways of working, track benefits realisation, and apply insights and lessons learned to continuously improve future delivery outcomes.
Own end to end delivery of assignments, accountable for ensuring timely delivery and clear alignment to outcomes and ING’s methodologies.
What we’re looking for….
An adaptable, all-round consultant who is comfortable operating across all levels of the organisation, who is equally confident rolling up their sleeves to step into Tribes or Programs, delivering learning sessions and engaging senior stakeholders and presenting to Executive forums.
Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose challenges, shape practical solutions, and coach and influence others to adopt improved practices and deliver value more effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying root causes, assessing options, and driving meaningful outcomes.
Proven experience delivering project and change initiatives across agile, waterfall, and hybrid environments, and translating that delivery experience into practical capability uplift through co-creating governance, tools, templates, guidance, and learning programs.
Confidence in a broad toolkit across ways of working, project delivery, change management, and governance, and knowledge and experience applying the right approach to each situation.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective delivery and change approaches that drive measurable outcomes, improve how work flows across teams, and lift capability across delivery communities by embedding sustainable ways of working and strengthening delivery maturity.
Comfortable working in fast paced, evolving environments, with the ability to adapt while maintaining focus on outcomes and value.
