Description
- Responds to billing and coverage inquiries and proof of insurance requests
- Respond to underwriting information requests on in-force policies
- Resolve complex billing issues by following up with insurance carrier
- Assess members’ insurance needs and educate members on insurance policies and coverage options in order to identify cross sell and referral opportunities
- Conduct policy reviews on in-force policies and advise on additional coverages and policies as needed
- Maintain up-to-date electronic client files in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Insurance industry
- Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to reach sound decisions and guide clients based on individual risk tolerances
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Up to date knowledge of insurance industry trends, products/services, procedures and policies
- Proficiency with basic to complex mathematical calculations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification/License: Property & Casualty license required, Life & Health license preferred
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $54,150 - $62,938 plus monthly incentives
