The As-Built Clerk is responsible for updating detailed electronic construction maps & drawings (as-builts) for telecommunications projects using existing drawings, measurements, sketches and specifications submitted by field crews.

What you’ll do
- Using either e-sketch, Bluebeam or alternate PDF software, update electronic maps & drawings to accurately reflect construction progress.
- Document as-built updates for project reconciliation
- Collaborate with field operations to research/resolve any inconsistencies regarding work completed.
- Perform quality control checks on field mapping, field notes and/or map digitizing to ensure all specifications are met.
- Make copies of system prints or engineering documents as required.
- Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings.
- Complete assigned work prior to deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- Ability to navigate between multiple computer systems/programs simultaneously and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Ability to be trained quickly on reading and understanding telecommunications system maps and mapping tools.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with heavy workloads and short term goals.
- Communicate effectively and be able to speak to the progress of a project
- Strong math, communication and computer skills; proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel
- AutoCAD,Spatial and/or Bluebeam experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail is required.
- Must have outstanding quality control skills.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
