Salesforce Technical Lead

The Salesforce Technical Lead is the senior technical authority for the Salesforce platform, accountable for architectural integrity, solution design quality, integration strategy, and long-term platform scalability.

Operating with a high degree of independent professional responsibility and discretion, the role ensures that all Salesforce solutions — across major programmes and continuous improvement initiatives — are technically robust, scalable, and aligned to agreed business strategy and enterprise architecture standards.

The postholder translates the agreed Salesforce roadmap into scalable technical architecture and governed delivery approaches, producing and overseeing high- and low-level designs for both complex programmes and smaller enhancements. The role has department-wide impact and works closely with technical leads across Customer and Business Platforms to ensure cross-platform architectural alignment and integration integrity.
