OnsiteWe are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Engineering Programme Management team onsite in Plymouth for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fully onsite role providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers across a range of engineering and development programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project coordination, reporting, planning, and programme delivery within a fast-paced engineering environment.
This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract running from August 2026 to August 2027.
What You Will Do
To work within the Engineering Programme Management team providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers.
Responsibilities Include
- Tracking and reporting programme metrics relating to resource, cost, and schedule
- Inputting and maintaining project data within Engineering Control Tower
- Setting up and supporting monthly Engineering Project Reviews
- Supporting bid and proposal activities, including administration of BidMaster.Web (BMW) tools
- Generating and maintaining simple project plans
- Producing materials and supporting Finance Project Reviews
- Coordinating project meetings and taking minutes
- Providing hands-on support to development programmes, including potential lab-based activities
Qualifications You Must Have
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project support, engineering, or operations environment
- Minimum ONC/HNC qualification (or equivalent) with an engineering-related focus
Key Skills
- Ability to generate, maintain, and track project plans
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Experience supporting bids and proposals
- Previous experience working within an engineering environment
