Position Marketing Analyst
Work Location: Hicksville, NY
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
• Develop promotion and communication campaigns to Long Island’s Residential market
• Create, develop and execute customer promotional campaigns that will increase J.D. Power customer satisfaction and also drive customer participation in LI program and services (Online Self-Service products)
• Leveraging market strategy, customer data and research to develop customer communication initiatives
• Create, develop and execute new program promotions or customer incentives
• Optimize communication channel mix for target audiences and budget efficiency
• Work with vendors as appropriate in the execution of customer communication campaigns
• Create, develop and maintain customer lists for Marketing and other requesting departments
• Query internal databases (Micro-strategy / Data-Warehouse/Siebel) to create, develop and maintain customer email, direct mail and other targeted lists for marketing and other requesting departments
• Provide campaign incentive and promotional fulfillment by working with internal and external partners to execute
• Work with internal areas such as Customer Intelligence to identify and develop customer profiles; market segmentation opportunities, tailored customer communications
• Identifying data-mining and market research opportunities to increase marketing communication efficiency
• Utilizing current research vehicles like J.D. Power and Customer Contactor surveys to identify customer satisfaction gaps and develop potential solutions
• Through data mining and market research, identify and develop new product or service opportunities.
• Leverage market strategy, customer data and research to develop new and creative customer communications initiatives
• Be proficient in the area of digital marketing and the leveraging of that channel in outreach to customers and prospects
• Collaborate with support areas as required, by providing them direction, communication or feedback in the promotion of programs, products and services

• Develop strategies and tactical plans to achieve program goals and metric targets
• Research industry best practices and market trends to develop marketing initiatives
• Monitor the marketplace to seek out:

• Trend analysis data
• Measure and report out on marketing campaigns and initiatives as they relate to program participation and customer satisfaction
• Leverage in-house tools and databases to track and reporting on specific communications campaigns and marketing goals
• Work with Marketing communications team in the production of new or revised customer collateral, internal support materials and other appropriate communication pieces
• Monitor program and service marketing collateral for relevance
• Collaborate with Customer Intelligence, Systems Change & Implementation, Technical Support areas on up and coming technologies.
• Identify program and/or product enhancements
• Manage market-specific budget
• Attend conferences/workshops on advances in Utility Marketing, Social Media or Web Utilization as required
Desired Skills:
(Knowledge and Experience Required)
Requirements:
• BA / BS Marketing Degree or equivalent Experience
• 3 – 7 years of experience in market campaign development, campaign analysis, list management
• Experience in digital marketing and media
• Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Must have excellent communication skills and analytical skills.
