
Associate Instructor, Machine Tool Technology Clarksville
Job Description
The Machine Tool Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include blueprint reading, shop theory, precision measuring, technical math, CAD, safety, basic metallurgy, etc. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.
