Global Legal Director – M&A and Treasury
Location: Diemen, NL (Hybrid)

As a critical member of our Global Legal Leadership Team (LLT), you will be the legal architect behind our most significant acquisitions, divestitures, and financing projects. You will act as the primary legal sparring partner for the Global General Counsel and the Executive Board, ensuring that every deal strengthens our market-leading position.
The Role: High Impact, High Flexibility We are looking for an elite M&A professional who values impact over "face-time." While this is a high-stakes, "always-on" role during active deal cycles, we offer a flexible hybrid model and are open to part-time arrangements (e.g., 36 hours) for the right leader, provided you have the agility to adjust when a transaction hits the finish line.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic M&A Execution: Partnering with the M&A lead to steer the legal strategy of acquisitions and joint ventures. You take the lead on legal topics, while your M&A counterpart leads the commercial terms.
Master Negotiator: Negotiating primary transaction documents (SPAs, Shareholders' Agreements) to protect Randstad’s long-term interests.
Finance & Treasury Oversight: Structuring complex financing, including credit facilities and bond issuances, in collaboration with Global Treasury.
Executive Sparring - 'legal risk management. group structure and corporate governance'
Stakeholder Leadership: Functionally managing a small, high-performing team and leading multi-disciplinary project groups across other functions at Randstad Global.
Who You Are
Credentials: A qualified lawyer (preferably Dutch-qualified or with strong Dutch corporate law experience).
Experience: 10+ years within a top-tier law firm or a large-scale corporate M&A environment.
Financial Fluency: You speak the language of Treasury and Finance; you see the story behind the numbers.
The Profile: You are a "constructive challenger"—independent, pragmatic, and "down to earth." You don't just find risks; you find solutions.
Communication: Capable of building instant credibility with the Executive Board while managing complex, global stakeholder groups.
