The role involves supporting the daily operation of customer ERP environments. You monitor, maintain, and configure ERP systems within defined procedures.
You work under close supervision and follow ITIL and SLA standards. You handle routine service requests, incidents, and basic changes. You help keep systems stable, secure, and available. You communicate with colleagues and customers to share information and resolve general issues.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Critical Services and System Performance.
- Health Checks: Regularly check the health of the EC2 instances, ERP system and other resources.
- Provisioning Users: Create and manage user accounts.
- Access Control: Configure IAM roles and policies to ensure proper access control.
- Incident Response: Respond to and resolve incidents.
- Support Tickets: Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
- Log Analysis: Analyse application and system logs to troubleshoot issues.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose solutions.
- System Configuration: Assist in configuring ERP modules as per business requirements.
- Parameter Tuning: Tune & configure system parameters to optimize performance.
- Microsoft SQL, benchmarking, and performance analysis / optimization.
- Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.
- Software Updates: Apply patches and updates to the ERP software.
- Environment Management: Manage different environments (development, testing, production) within AWS.
- Document Procedures: Create and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and system configurations.
- Knowledge Base: Contribute to a knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
You should have at least two years of experience in infrastructure and cloud solutions, as well as system administration e.g. Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and virtualization. While certification in Cloud and Microsoft solutions is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
You possess an analytical mind and a structured, solution-oriented approach to your work. You are proactive, capable of making independent decisions.
