Description
Responsibilities
- Analyses customer business processes and functional requirements.
- Designs and develops customised ERP modules, integrations and extensions.
- Very strong knowledge of FO/FO2.
- Experience with Java, version control systems and automatic testing systems.
- Translates complex functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Defines configuration and customisation approaches within established frameworks.
- Validates technical solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Explains technical practices, solutions and procedures to stakeholders.
- Influences operational decisions related to development and integration work.
- Recommends modifications to processes, systems or tools to enhance performance.
- Solves difficult technical issues using experience and structured analysis.
- Prepares accurate technical documentation to support implementation.
- Coaches and reviews work for less experienced professionals when needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong experience in ERP (preferably Abas ERP) customisation, application development or system integrations.
- Well developed knowledge of ERP modules, business workflows and technical frameworks.
- Ability to manage complex assignments independently.
- Experience translating advanced functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Clear communication skills with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements to development processes.
- Relevant education and experience in software development, information systems or related fields.
