This position will support home health and hospice services in North King County.
FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: _M-F

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing support services, under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff that assist the client or family/caregiver in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort according to State and Federal Regulations. This is an entry-level patient care support position, working under limited supervision. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of supporting delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Technical training in related field required Home health or hospice experience preferred
  • One (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience
  • Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.61 - $39.01 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
