Operations SME/Analyst

Position title: Operations SME/Analyst

Location: San Diego, CA

Clearance required: SECRET

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Track, analyze, and report operational data from the Catalog Online Tracking System (COLTS) and Sierra Hotel Aviation Readiness Program (SHARP).
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all operational data inputs and outputs.
• Validate and reconcile system data, proactively addressing discrepancies or errors.
• Maintain and update operational documents, workflows, and reference materials to reflect current processes and standards.
• Identify performance trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency, system performance, and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Support the development of metrics, dashboards, and reports used for contract oversight and operational reviews.

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting operational missions involving uncrewed systems.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Python, R, Tableau).
• Ability to visualize and present data effectively.
• Understanding of airspace regulations and procedures.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations pertaining to UAS operations.
• FAA Part 107 certification (for UAS operations) or the ability to obtain it with 6 months of Task Order start.
