Job Description
Essential duties include the following:
- Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervises various aspects of Water Management operations and personnel, which may include pre-job and preparation, mobilization, rig up, on site operations, rig down, on-site maintenance, safety, environmental assurance, de-mobilization, and post job inventories and maintenance.
- Understands and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as needed.
- Conducts required safety meetings (onsite and off). Use independent judgment and discretion to identify specific topics to be addressed at each meeting. Answers questions raised by employees and takes follow-up action, when necessary to resolve issues that arise during day-to-day operations and safety-related issues or occurrences.
- Manages the accuracy and completion of data into MESO.
- Follows manager guidance concerning all Water Management related operations.
- Ensures that all equipment assigned to them is properly functioning and all applicable procedures and tests are conducted in compliance with required standards.
- Monitors and makes recommendations which may affect conditions of employees’ employment, including hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, compensation, disciplinary actions, or any other change of status of subordinate employees.
- Evaluates issues raised by management and exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine proper protocol for implementing changes, when necessary, with the district.
- Manages crew time sheets.
- Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
- This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
