Quality Engineer (m/f/x) IT Air & Sea Logistics (Porto)

Tasks

 

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for software quality, performance and reliability
• Design, create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirements
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium to improve test coverage
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects and validate user experience, including exploratory testing
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Design and execute performance tests to ensure software can handle expected loads and stress conditions

Qualifications

 

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar QA role, with strong understanding of software testing methodologies
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Experience with performance testing tools is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach to testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues and proposing solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
• Good knowledge of English
