Senior Test Engineer (m/f/x) Automation IT Road Services & Quality (Porto)

Tasks

• Responsibility for the automation of test procedures and creation of data sets
• Analyzing the technical requirements and specifications of our software products
• Identifying and structuring the test objects and test requirements as well as designing the associated test cases together with our development team and the application owners in mostly agile project teams
• Performing manual and automated test cases and creating test documentation and error reports to support development in analyzing and correcting errors
• Central point of contact for colleagues and further development and training of test methodologies
• Supporting the 2nd level support

Qualifications

• Training in IT, alternatively commercial or logistics training with relevant experience
• Ideally several years of experience or activity in quality management and certification as ISTQB® Certified Tester, Foundation Level
• Confident handling of Office programs and other IT tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
• Knowledge of test automation and corresponding tools (e.g. QF-Test)
• High quality standards and pleasure in continuously improving the quality of software products
• Strong communication skills, creative-destructive skills, high sense of responsibility and flexibility
• Good knowledge of English
