
FARGO PARKS FOUNDATION - Part Time Blackjack Dealer (Site Coordinator)
Job Description
The Gaming Site Coordinator manages operations at the blackjack table, explaining the game, dealing cards, completing payouts, and ensuring fair play.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dealing cards: shuffle and deal cards to players
- Managing the gaming area: Ensure players follow casino procedures, monitor the game pace, and maintain a fun environment
- Paying out winnings: Collect losing bets and pay out winning bets, exchange cash for chips and vice-versa, paying out E-Tab winners
- Handling money: Count chips and secure money received during the game, count all cash banks at the beginning and end of shift
- Explaining the game: Teach new players how to play and answer questions from players
- Maintaining organization: Keep cards and chips organized, cash in faced and valued order, and tidy up the gaming area at the end of their shift
- Communicating: Interact with Gaming Manager to share concerns and information
- Following regulations: Follow gaming regulations and organization rules
Individual must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and pass an annual background check. 2+ years of charitable gaming experience is preferred.
Individual must have good math skills, excellent people skills and analytical thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of all games.
