Position: Scholar Experience Manager

THE ROLE
- Partners with the Principal to design and implement a school-wide vision for a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate behavior management system with clear incentives and consequences.
- Leads, coaches, and manages Scholar Experience Coordinators (high school only) to ensure consistent execution of culture systems and student support structures.
- Develops and facilitates professional development for staff focused on relationship-building, classroom management, high expectations, and strong family partnerships.
- Collaborates with the Operations Team to improve attendance, punctuality, and chronic absenteeism through proactive student and family engagement.
- Collects, analyzes, and communicates culture and behavior data to inform school-wide priorities and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Leads the school’s character development program, ensuring it builds student identity, accountability, and positive contributions to school culture.
- Plans and facilitates school-wide culture-building events such as recognition assemblies, family workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Creates and sustains a positive peer culture of belonging, ensuring all students feel supported, valued, and connected to the school community.
- Establishes systems that support student reflection, accountability, and action planning following behavioral incidents.
- Manages Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavioral interventions, ensuring appropriate supports, restorative practices, and communication with stakeholders are implemented effectively.
- Collaborates with teachers, students, and families to design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans aligned to student needs.
- Serves as the primary driver of family engagement and attendance systems by coaching staff on effective communication practices and leading strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Scholar Experience Manager is the culture leader of the school, and is charged with ensuring that the school has the systems and processes in place that enable all stakeholders - staff, students, and families - to work together to create a school-wide culture of safety, consistency, and structure such that joy, positivity, empathy, and love of learning permeate every space in the building.
THE MUST HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a K–12 school setting supporting school culture, student behavior, or discipline systems strongly preferred
- Experience in high-performing charter school environments with aligned mission and values strongly preferred
- Proficiency in instructional technology, student information systems, and data platforms to track student progress and inform interventions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, staff, and external partners
- Openness to receiving, reflecting on, and implementing frequent, actionable feedback within a continuous improvement culture
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and emotional composure in high-pressure or crisis situations

THE PERKS
- Compensation: This position is a salaried position; salary offers commensurate with experience.
- Retirement Plans: Employees may participate in TCRS retirement plan in Nashville, TN, or the Principal retirement plan in Jackson, MS.
- Paid Time Off: Employees receive 10 days of Paid Time Off, in addition to network closures. This includes 8 personal leave days and 2 mental health days.
- Paid Leave Programming: In the event an employee needs to take maternity or paternity leave, RePublic Schools provides paid medical leave based on length of service. Employees who have been employed for less than one year are eligible for up to 4 weeks of leave at 100% pay. Employees with more than one year of service are eligible for up to 9 weeks of leave at 100% pay, followed by an additional 3 weeks at 40% pay.
