Job Description:

  • Weekly costs, stock take, taking and forecast is submitted every Mondays before 12N

  • All Takings are banked on a weekly basis

  • NO cash is to be used outside of the weekly petty cash system in place

  • Supervisor and organise staff demonstrating leadership and personal commitment to the section.

  • Monthly meetings are held as a requirement

  • Supervise all employees ensuring all duties are concluded satisfactorily

  • Integrity must be instilled to all employees

  • All employees maintain ethical behaviour and above by the company policies

  • Training for staff is conducted

  • Provide Leadership in Safety supporting and encouraging Safety and Incident Free initiatives with in the Guesthouse in line with the department strategies and alignment with the company.

  • Health and safety practices are evident in the guesthouse.

  • Customer Service is provided promptly and according to the requirements and complaints from the customer.

  • Regular room check and house inspection are carried out and documented on a weekly basis using the inspection form

  • Customer feedback is used and completed

  • Customer concerns are addressed by the personal visits to the location to address the issue and thereafter put in writing.

  • Guest Accommodation is allocated as approved and rooms are prepared according to standards specified by the operations standards.

  • Rooms are allocated fairly and promptly

  • Guests abide by the rules including community rules

  • Food orders are served on a timely basis

  • No food shortages must be recorded at anytime.

  • Maintenance is ensure by constant inspections and continued revisits within the guesthouse with actions completing maintenance requests.

  • Maintenance issues are referred quickly and addressed promptly to the HR Manager

  • ALL RBMs are followed up with the Building Department to be completed

  • RBMs must be monitored and documented weekly.

  • Guest files are maintained and are in order

  • Files relating to the operation must be maintained and running

  • All security issues are reported each Mondays before 10am and a running file is maintained.

  • Financial files are completed and maintained

  • All financial files are maintained up to 7 years.
