The Business Relationship Manager for R&D Clinical Systems helps make clinical work more efficient by using technology. This person is the main contact for clinical teams in R&D, connecting their needs with new systems and tools. They help create business cases for new ideas, make sure service requests are handled quickly, and work with other teams to fix problems.
This position is a P2 level
What will you be doing?
Contribute to R&D and Clinical Strategic planning and demand shaping
Contribute and develop 1 year and 5 year roadmaps of technology alongside our business partners.
3rd Party Coordination: Lead discussions with all 3rd party partner/vendor future solutions to deliver the R&D Clinical roadmaps.
Customer/Business Partner Coordination: Accountable for communicating to our clinical business partners.
IT Partner/Stakeholder Coordination: When needed with our Global Service Delivery team to achieve resolution on problem management incidents.
Demand Management: Ensure that IT Demand and Project Management entries in ServiceNOW are correct and up to date for Demand Review and aligns with long term roadmaps for R&D Clinical.
Change ticket leadership and problem management: This includes coordinating with stakeholders and determining accurate impact assessment of changes, and problems.
What will you need to be successful?
Education
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a relevant field. or an equivalent 2 years' experience in leading / managing a Level 2 & 3 R&D Systems support team for a medical device, life science or pharmaceutical industry.
Certifications
Agile Alliance Certified (Good to have)
Any of the ITSM Frameworks
Data Analytics (Good to Have)
Experience
2+ years of IT work experience in leading
Experience in Clinical System tools such as Medidata, Veeva, Anaqua Idea Point, eTMF.
Some experience in Software Development Lifecycle such as Jira, Jama, Atlassian Stack, Solidworks, Catia, Altium, Figma, DraftView, Mimics, Matlab, Siemens NX, CAD tools, SSL certificates and Document Management Systems.
Experience in working and/or supporting application at a Medical Device, Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical field/industry
Languages
English proficiency: Advanced
Knowledge
Knowledge and hands on experience in ITIL disciplines
Knowledge and hands on experience being accountable for Clinical and R&D Systems.
Competences
Effective communication skill and proficiency in collaborating and hosting IT escalations/meetings while maintaining calm and focus even if under pressure.
