
Project Facilities Engineer 2 (AFMS - Project Management)
Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for Project Management and Engineering execution, reporting to the Singapore Facilities Operations Leadership Team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Job scopes include but are not limited to:
Participate and Lead in Turnkey, Facilities System Upgrading and Equipment Validation projects
Initiate execution and management of in-house projects
Active participation in continuous improvement projects
Good Knowledge in ACMV, Mechanical and Electrical System is required
Work closely with Facilities Operations and Maintenance team for scope execution
Management of contractors on outsourced services to ensure fulfillment of contracts terms and agreements
Manage contracts, system utilities drawing and documentation
Perform capacity management and optimization
Plan, organize and ensure operation and system is operating at its highest efficiency
Ensure that all company procedures and policies are compiled and carried out accordingly
Participate in ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programs
Support EHS and Security work scopes and projects
May need to travel to support regional projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Preferred Experience:
2 - 3 years’ relevant working experience in projects, (Biotech or Semiconductor facilities environment will be advantageous)
Demonstrate leadership ability
Ability to work independently and with all levels
Must be committed and good team player.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates
Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary
Ability to be on 24 hr standby (if required)
Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including MS Excel, Word and Power point
Knowledge of AutoCAD will be advantageous
