Project Facilities Engineer 2 (AFMS - Project Management)

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for Project Management and Engineering execution, reporting to the Singapore Facilities Operations Leadership Team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Job scopes include but are not limited to:

• Participate and Lead in Turnkey, Facilities System Upgrading and Equipment Validation projects

• Initiate execution and management of in-house projects

• Active participation in continuous improvement projects

• Good Knowledge in ACMV, Mechanical and Electrical System is required

• Work closely with Facilities Operations and Maintenance team for scope execution

• Management of contractors on outsourced services to ensure fulfillment of contracts terms and agreements

• Manage contracts, system utilities drawing and documentation

• Perform capacity management and optimization

• Plan, organize and ensure operation and system is operating at its highest efficiency

• Ensure that all company procedures and policies are compiled and carried out accordingly

• Participate in ISO, OHSAS, FDA certification programs

• Support EHS and Security work scopes and projects

• May need to travel to support regional projects

• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Preferred Experience:

• 2 - 3 years’ relevant working experience in projects, (Biotech or Semiconductor facilities environment will be advantageous)

• Demonstrate leadership ability

• Ability to work independently and with all levels

• Must be committed and good team player.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates

• Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary

• Ability to be on 24 hr standby (if required)

• Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including MS Excel, Word and Power point

• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be advantageous
