Job Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Olympia, WA. This travel assignment starts 06/23/2026 and runs for Weeks, with a 4x10-hour shift schedule (07:00–17:30). Weekly pay ranges from $2,543 to $2,627. The position provides work in a hospital setting supporting a fast-paced interventional radiology lab.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and peripheral/renal interventions
- Assist with stent placement and angioplasty; participate in embolization procedures
- Conduct nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, and TIPS procedures as indicated
- Assist with biopsies and drainage procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis) while maintaining sterile technique
- Assume scrub and circulator roles; manage C-arm imaging and operate equipment in Philips rooms (one biplane) and a GE Hybrid room
- Maintain patient safety and quality control; adhere to sterile technique and radiation safety standards
- Document procedures and findings in the charting system (Epic)
- Work with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists; care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Primary outpatient setting with related OR/ER/Adult ICU experience preferred
Requirements
- Active Washington state license required; ARRT (R) certification required; BLS required
- Minimum of 1 year IR/interventional radiology experience
- IR/CV certification preferred
- Pending license not accepted; must be eligible to work in a hospital IR lab
- Strong sterile technique, C-arm fluoro experience, and familiarity with Philips and GE imaging systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment and to participate in on-call coverage (one weekday and one weekend per month)
- Must be able to work in the specified travel setting; local residents within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract
