Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Guyana at the OKO West Mine Site.

  • Assist with instrumentation design, including loop drawings, P&IDs, cable routing, and control system interface.
  • Support field installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation and coordinate with vendors for instrument selection and delivery.
  • Participate in the configuration, troubleshooting and integration of instrumentation during construction.


Requirements

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering.

Relevant experience: Minimum 3-5 years in instrumentation engineering roles with a focus on gold mining construction projects.

Additional skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, instrumentation standards, and basic PLC knowledge. Familiarity with process automation systems and calibration procedures.

Salary Range: Negotiable.

Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.

Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 14of work followed by 7 days off.
