We're looking for someone to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor-BH who:

The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, with the direction of the Clinical Manager, will supervise and coordinate clinical activities of the Behavioral Health Center. The Clinical Supervisor will support clinical staff to ensure client needs are met, staff schedules are compliant, and ensures operational efficiency through daily management, monitoring and reporting of all BH clinic objectives. The Clinical Supervisor is a part of the behavioral health department leadership team and works in coordination and cooperation with the departments administrative staff to ensure fiscal, clinical, and licensing (Medi-Cal, Medicare, DMC, et. al.) integrity. In addition, the Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Site Supervisors to manage overall site operations, which includes but not limited to reception upkeep/maintenance, welcoming environment, stellar customer service, monthly reporting and facility safety and cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provides psychotherapy to a caseload of clients (5-10), which may include high acuity clients and clients with difficult presentation and/or assessments/FTS. 
  2. Provides technical direction and clinical direction to clinical staff; and may provide clinical supervision to associate therapists and/or student interns as applicable and necessary based on the site needs.
  3. Assist in the organization and management of staff and patient flow in Behavioral Health Center.
  4. Collaborates with Clinical Manager to plan and report on performance outcome measures, as well as team adherence to contract standards, Medi-Cal and Medicare compliance and retention of The Joint Commission behavioral health accreditation as it applies to the Behavioral Health Center assigned.
  5. Maintain 1-2 clinic days in which client care is provided directly, supports during staff shortages, or as needed directed by Clinical Manager. 
  6. Promote to staff and the community the vision and mission of Clinica Sierra Vista Behavioral Health department and its work.
  7. Ensure the veracity and excellence of the clinical work being performed, including the timely documentation of such work by provider staff.
  8. Assist with BH reports for behavioral health outcome measures and collaborates with Clinic manager to establish Corrective Action Plans, when needed. 
  9. Assist and ensure a safe, clean, informative, and welcoming environment specific to behavioral health services for clients and in multiple integrated patient settings.
  10. Inform the Clinical Manager of any information/concerns relating to care of clients, site upkeep/maintenance and staff performance.
  11. Collaborates with other Clinical manager to sustain, promote, and grow departmental programs and services.
  12. Participates in strategic planning and facilitate department meetings as needed.
  13. Participate in organizing and presenting trainings to staff at BH centers, provider, or contract partners on BH services and process.
  14. Comply with established Clinica Sierra Vista and BH policies. 
  15. Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.
  16. Other duties as required. 


You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • Hold a California license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Possession of a current California License as a Clinical Psychologist as granted by the California State Board of Psychology.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience working in a specialty mental health setting.
  • Two years post-licensure with the ability to provide clinical supervision preferred.
  • Knowledge of the principles of psychology applicable to care, treatment and rehabilitation of children and adults with behavioral health diagnoses; knowledge of record keeping and report writing techniques; ability to organize and carry out new programs and procedures.
