Key Responsibilities:
· Performs professional body treatments in accordance to Courted protocols and local/state guidelines
· Promote the consistency of health, wellness and routine massage care to upsell products, services and packages
· Adhere to policies set forth to ensure best practices and customers satisfaction
· Maintain client confidentiality in accordance to HIPPA regulations and service protocols
· Possess leadership qualities, positive attitude and uphold a professional demeanor
· Increase guest retention by building and strengthening relationships
· Ensures intake/consent forms are distributed and completed
· Participate in promoting programs/services throughout TSJ facility
· Assist in the aesthetic cleanliness of spa facility
· Perform administrative duties and support as needed
· Attend all staff meetings, trainings and promotional events
· Ability to work evenings and weekends
· Provide clear and concise education on pre/post-treatment instructions
· Ensure inventory is stocked with appropriate supplies in treatment rooms
· Ensure standards for infection control are met in accordance with local, state and federal OSHA guidelines
· Clean and sterilize equipment/instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies according to OSHA guidelines
· Attend continuing education to maintain ethical and technical skills are in compliance with Courted Spa, local/state guidelines
Qualifications
· 500+ hours of training from an accredited massage therapy program
· Passed Virginia State exam
· Acquired experience 2+ years
· Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pregnancy massage and body exfoliation treatments
· Certification in lymphatic/cancer treatment modalities a plus
· Must be available to work on weekends.
