Back of House Crew Member (BOH)

As a Back of House Crew Member (BOH) for Traditions Hospitality Group you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your dedication to food preparation, organization, and teamwork will contribute to delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to kitchen management.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
• Lift and carry moderate to heavy objects, including pots, pans, and trays.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heat and kitchen elements.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
