🚛 Job Summary:

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), your local Thermo King dealer, is looking for an experienced Trailer Technician to join our team in a Shift Lead capacity on our 2nd Shift in De Pere, WI! In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing trailer repairs and maintenance, overseeing shop operations, training technicians, and ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient workflows.

🎯 Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license

• Obtain a toolbox and the required tools

• Proven experience in trailer repair and shop supervision

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather condidtions

• Strong welding and fabrication skills (steel and aluminum)

• Familiarity with ABS, electrical systems, and DOT/FHWA inspections

• Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Perform trailer inspections, maintenance, and repairs (brakes, tires, electrical, ABS, welding, etc.)

• Supervise and assign work to trailer technicians

• Ensure high quality standards and efficiency are met in shop operations

• Provide training and mentorship to new and current technicians

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard

• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts

• Complete repair orders and verify technician time and parts

• Perform road service and occasional vehicle repairs

• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed

• Additional duties as assigned
