At TVH, purchasing is about more than sourcing parts. It is about building long-term supplier partnerships, supporting product availability and ensuring continuity for customers worldwide.
As a Product Purchaser, you will join a small, experienced team responsible for one of TVH’s largest agricultural product groups. You will support the purchasing and sourcing of well-defined agricultural products and parts, maintain frequent contact with suppliers and contribute to a balanced team dynamic. While a new long-term strategy for this product group is being prepared, your focus will be on operational purchasing activities, follow-up and coordination.
You will work closely with technicians, purchasers and internal stakeholders, gradually building your understanding of agricultural products and their applications.
Your responsibilities
Supplier & purchasing support
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure continuity, alignment and follow-up
- Support supplier selection, onboarding and performance evaluations
- Assist with negotiations, pricing discussions and RFPs within existing frameworks
Procurement execution & coordination
- Support purchasing activities for well-defined agricultural products and parts
- Create purchase requisitions, sample orders and support procurement execution
- Act as a point of contact for operational purchasing questions
Product & data management
- Maintain accurate item, supplier and compliance data
- Build insight into the agricultural product portfolio and market context
Collaboration
- Work closely with technicians and experienced purchasers in a duo-based working model
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Product Development, Quality and Sales
- Contribute to a calm, professional and collaborative team environment
Your profile
- Strong interest in purchasing, sourcing or supplier management
- Structured, organized and comfortable with follow-up
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Curious about agricultural products; technical expertise is a plus, not a must
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with experienced colleagues
- You are able to build go+od partnerships with our biggest suppliers
Languages
- Fluent in English and French
- Italian is a strong asset
